Yessir, truly saturated hues, and I mean that in the positive sense. I like the second one because of the contrasting hues (greens near the homestead and purples and reds in the adjacent fields and hills. It stands out as my favorite in this set. The leading line, i.e., the highway, in the first is great, but I have to say that the angle somewhat diminishes its impact to my eyes. I’d have preferred to have the drone lower to provide a fuller sense of perspective, but that’s a personal opinion. Nonetheless, I hope you’re pleased with this set. You know I would be if I had taken them.
Just beautiful vibrant Fall colors amigo! Here in the Eastern USA the very hot, humid and dry summer has left many trees dropping their leaves prematurely. The rest of the trees are turning right to brown and leaves are falling.
Again beautiful!
Thank you, amigo Dan. The Fall colour in the North of Iceland is atypically dull. There was a freak spell of snow earlier in the month that disrupted the natural cycle.
Just a magnificent collection. Thank you Rajan.I prefer these drone fotos to the chopper ones, not because they’re better, but because there’s less fuel used. Living in the paths of hurricanes I now measure everything by its danger to me and by its impact on the health of our ecosphere. R
Thank you, Richard, for your remarks and concerns. Many of Iceland’s remote, unspoiled areas can only be reached by helicopter or arduous hikes. Some of the glacial terrain remains entirely inaccessible due to its inherent dangers. Expanding access to these wildernesses would inevitably compromise their pristine purity – a delicate dilemma indeed.
