An impromptu portrait session. Sheela, a migrant from the state of Chhatisgarh, is a ragpicker, a métier disdained by Indians. I came across her this evening in Saligao, Goa, while photographing the sunset. Notice the beautiful light of the low sun on her visage.

Seen on my drive today. A couple of quick frames from the beautiful Vatnsdalur valley in north Iceland. It was extremely windy and only handheld shooting was possible. The hills in the second image are Vatnshólar, fashioned from a gigantic landslide from the Vatnsdalsfjall mountain.
