Just beautiful Rajan!!!! The haze in the jungle/forest only accents the vibrance of the Church’s colors. If a person wanted to feel one with the Supreme Being, this would be the place to have that connection. Well done my friend…indeed!ReplyCancel
Dan – interesting that you mention the connection to the Supreme Being. This area is the Hindu heartland of Goa, home to a cluster of iconic and historic temples. Amid all the Hindu holy places is perched this Christian chapel. So regardless of one’s persuasion, the Highway to the Supreme runs through this patch of land.
Mervyn-bab: These photos were taken in 2016. Given the proclivities and trends in Goa, I won’t be surprised if the place has already been subjected to further degradation.ReplyCancel

Rajan,
You are a master of morning light.
Thank you, Curt. As the philosopher Woody Allen once observed: 80% of life is showing up.
The third one is a beauty.
Bob: Thanks. Considering that it was shot straight into the sun, it is impressive how well the drone system performed.
Great photo essay! This chapel is right is front of Ramnathi. I posted a photograph of the chapel in the following post:

Premanand: Good to hear from you. Yes, I remember that post.
hi Rajan if it wasn’t your photos , I would not believe it is my beautiful Goa . May God protect my land from reckless destruction.
Prayers are all we have.
Sir, really graceful capture! what a serenity!
Thanks.
Fabulous captures 🙌🏽👍🏽
Good to hear. Thank you.
Beautiful picture. Where in Goa is this Rajanbab?
Ajit-bab: It is very close to Ramnathi and Kavalem.
Thank you, Rajan-Bab. Looks bigger than most chapels. Loved to see it.
Antonio-bab: Good to hear.
Nice captures! I wonder how much longer this place will retain its pristine beauty.
