Wonderland.
Crisp, cold air, a fresh dusting of snow, and overcast conditions imbued the south-central Icelandic Highlands with a dreamlike quality on this morning last week. There’s a Sanskrit word – adbhuta – for the feeling of wonder and awe these scenes inspire. A short video follows the stills.
Grænihryggur is Icelandic for ‘Green Ridge’ – Grænn (= green) and hryggur (= spine/ridge).
AMAZING….I DONT KNOW ANY OTHER WORD, SORRY..
This is beyond beautiful! Adbhuta indeed!
Premanand, Antonio, Asheesh, and Bob – thank you, gentlemen.
Watercolors or acrylics? LOL. What a wonder of nature, and such beautiful images. Well done, Rajan. BTW, I very much like the background music on your video: tasteful and appropriate to the scenes.
Hello Rajan, thanks for sharing your beautiful images and videos. One suggestion – it would be great if in addition to the gear used to capture the photographs, you could also share the shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Thanks.
Stunning. I have no doubt our Group of Seven painters would have given an eye tooth to witness this sheer beauty and… paint it. Thank you.
अद्भूत !
