Devotion in the monsoon’s embrace.
Early morning in Mauxi’s remote Mahadev Temple, tucked away in the northeast of Goa, a village woman draped in traditional finery arrived to make her offering. The thick monsoon air hung heavy, and I couldn’t let the moment slip by to catch a few frames.
Added to the Faces of Goa collection.
Right locale for Mahadev, serene and lonely ….
Yes, before the town of Valpoi began to expand, it felt even more remote.
Most beautiful images from the cloudy, foggy but vibrant jungle amigo! The Temple’s vibrant colors draw all who venture near it to a moment of reflection!
Bravo!
Thank you, Dan. Very well put.
With Grace, indeed. It reminded me of another posting early in the year – Pumpkin on Sale – where you captured the ineffable expression of the subject, just as you do here. Extraordinary in every way. Thank you, Rajan-Bab.
Antonio-bab: Thank you. With Shiva’s grace, I get lucky sometimes.
