Impromptu portrait session.
I was at the edge of a field in Calapur, Goa, photographing the first light when I saw these migrants from the village of Chandgadh across the border in Maharashtra. Shy at first, they warmed up when I broke into their native Marathi.

A weathered, stoic working couple! An ethic that some of the Western world could renew a lost principle. They are a proud couple and people! Hard work to live is not free nor a gift at the expense of a govt of a entire people. Although some governments lead you to believe otherwise! Very well done my friend! Restores my faith in some humanity!
