Hello Rajan! the women cultivated much much more and sold it not only in the local markets but walked in the neighboring towns with their produce carried in big baskets on their heads and each one had a special ” ring tone ” to announce their produce .
Sad that no support given to them after having grabbed their land .
Well done. I find portraits the most challenging aspect of photography, but you nailed the art form here, especially in the close-up of “Devaki”. Something about ‘windows to the soul’!
