I have always enjoyed the desert southwest, and truly admire your photos of Red Rock, esp the 3rd and 4th. When I lived in La Jolla, CA, one of my favorite treks was to the desert just east of the coastal mountains. The terrain is quite similar to Red Rocks, but it cannot beat the colors in those Nevada mountains. Beautiful.
