Yoga

On the beach.

The International Day of Yoga is observed today, June 21.

This ancient Indian discipline offers a timeless response to the modern malaise: strife, inner disquiet, and agitated minds colonised by smartphone glass.

A mere 15–20 minutes a day devoted to a simple routine of yoga, pranayama, and meditation can yield deep dividends. The key is constancy: not treating it as a seasonal novelty, but embracing it as a lifelong discipline.

One morning in 2008, while walking along Agonda beach in South Goa, I came upon this quiet ritual.
