Light extraordinaire.
Reykjavík is blessed with sublime summer nights from late May until the end of July. When the stars align, the entire city is suffused in the glow of the low midnight sun hovering on the North horizon. No city in Europe or elsewhere can match this quality of light.
With Summer 2024 winding down, now is a good time to celebrate and relive moments of the years past. Three installments on this theme will be offered in quick succession.

The complementary hues in the first one, with the statue against the building’s facade, really caught my eye. Spectacular colors in all three.
