I find the third foto compelling. All are fine, however this farmer in a field of lush rice is like a Wendell Berry poem that tells how all places are sacred. Thank you for this Rajan.ReplyCancel
Richard – Thank you. The Southwest Indian monsoon is a very special time of the year, when Nature rejuvenates and reinvents itself. The season’s impact on the lives of millions of Indians cannot be overstated.ReplyCancel

“A Terra / Minha Terra/Jardim Florido/Estendido/ Do Mar à Serra” – the words of the Goan writer and poet , Adeodato Barreto, came to mind as I was looking at these paradisiac photos. Thank you, Rajan-bab. You captured the soul of our Land.ReplyCancel
Once again, another set of masterpieces. My favorites are the first (for the color palette) and the 4th, the sun through the mist or fog. On the latter, have you considered rendering it as a B/W image?ReplyCancel

This series is a reminder of my 2 years in SE Asia amigo! We all dreaded the monsoon season with all the rain and intense temperatures. The jungle was indeed very vibrant and the rice fields were well tended and taken care of. The water buffalo pulling plows for the rows of rice plants. Your 2nd image is tremendous! I love all creatures! Thanks!ReplyCancel

Thank you, Antonio-bab.
Premanand, Prof. John-bab, Dan, and Bob: Thank you all.
Dan – indeed yes, the tropical monsoon is an intense experience.
Bob: Good idea. I retained a hint of warmth to suggest this is a tropical setting.
