Monsoon canvas.
The village of Guirim in Goa is named after its hillock (from the Sanskrit giri meaning mountain, hill, or hillock). Perched atop the knoll is the Alverno Chapel.
These images were taken during the monsoon season when Goa is transformed into an oasis of green. Following the stills is a short video.

Good to hear.
The last one being a video is just super! A great photographer and videographer also? Just a super job my friend! Drone? I remember the monsoon season in Vietnam for 2 years and while everything was so beautiful in green, there was no color! This is perfect!
A beautiful calming church among the greenery…WOW! I have just sent the last week with my wife in the hospital and traveling 50 miles, 1 way, for 5 days and my 1st real unconnection with the “medical reality” that is dragging, not only the USA, but all of the World, DOWN!….this is refreshing my friend! Thanks for this! Wonderful image!

Soothing…to my eyes and to my heart. Thank you so much for bringing me this mesmerizing Goan village views, Sir.
Thanks, Sarmila.
I have very fond memories of “Girwadyan”, as does my father; his Maushi stayed there all her life. That piece in Megh is refreshing! I had once heard a Khyal by Pt Bhimsen in Megh and it has been etched in my mind.
Premanand-bab: yes, Girwadyan is (was) special.
Beautiful! I pray it remains green and lush.
Nadine – thanks. We all pray for the same.
SS=simply superb Rajanbab
Good to hear from you, Ajit-bab.

Dr. Massey – thanks.
Very nice set, and I love the raga in your video. More, please.
Thanks, Bob.
