Like the sequence of close to far. Curious about your Icelandic landscape fotos usually having no people in them.Is that intentional or is it usually too cold for anyone out there but brave photographers or madmen? My wetlands fotos are also devoid of people for the most part. ReplyCancel
Richard – thank you. In these remote parts, farms are spread out over a distance. Unless you catch a farmer out working or go near to a settlement cluster, you are unlikely to see human figures.ReplyCancel

Your subject title is dead on for me my friend!!!! This lone house with a bright red roof is just perfect! As you mention before a hot cup of cocoa, a sweet roll and dinner awaits just below. Perfect!ReplyCancel
What a charming home. But can you imagine living here day to day your entire life, as some farming family did for centuries. Beauty in summer, beauty in winter, but a hard life under it all. I particularly like this last photo across the fjord. We visit our friends in the Westfjords often, and I cannot wait to return this summer.ReplyCancel
Spectacular!
I wish to be as content as the guy living in that house 🙂
Isolation can be therapeutic.

Curt – As you well know, spectacular surroundings but life is tough here.
I like the contrast between this set of photos and the last blog post.
Thank you, Bob.
