While all images are uniquely beautiful in their own way I specifically liked the first one the most …the soft sun light reflecting in water proving a perfect contrast to the silhouette of the person who seems to be holding the perfect pose.
Asheesh – thank you.
People and their situations. Beautiful captures sir. And all of these people are engaged, active! That seems meaningful. People in your frames are all too natural like other species. They are immersed within their activities…wonderful!
Thanks, Sarmila.
Nice compositions. Congrats!
Mervyn: Good to hear from you.
Thank you, Rajan-bab. In this album of Women and Men of Goa, the one message that comes out loud and clear to me is – Goa, the land of “sossegado”. Thank you for this work of love.
Antonio-bab: Thanks.
All are lovely portraits/images.
Sajo – good to hear from you.
Excellent portraits of mostly everyday people doing the extraordinary things that made Goa, Goa.
Roland-bab: Well put.
The men shown here my friend shows an aging population. I see craftsman, shoe repair, netting, cattlemen……these trades are disappearing fast in the West. I see animals around. I love animals! I understand that some have become meat eaters? Well ship them over here my friend! They will keep our southern boarder from being overrun! Ha!
Dan: Yes, the likes of these men are fast-disappearing. Thank you for writing.
What a superb collection, Rajan. The guys here seem to be so very happy to be clicked by you.
Thanks, Nachi. Many of these characters are a good fit for this kind of photography.
Once again brilliant composition and capturing the essence of the goan men
Sanjeev-bab: Thank you. I doubt many of these photos would be possible today.
