Summer vibe.
Rim light effect on Hallgrímskirkja last night in Reykjavík. The façade of the building is front lit by the setting sun on the northern horizon.

Gorgeous, luxurious light, and a strong subject to anchor all. (There appears to be a bit of sharpening artifact on the horizontal roof shingles, or is it just the jpg reduction?)
Bob: Sharply observed! Thanks. Yes, these are jpeg compression artifacts, especially around the serrated edge. They are not visible in the psd/tiff file. I have now re-processed the RAW without any capture sharpening and this seems to have helped the jpeg rendering.
What a beautiful structure Rajan!! The sun setting on a Northern exposure? For us way down south, something we read about but never experience. Fine composition my friend!
