Sky lit.
While photographing my intended subject the other night, I turned around and saw this scene. I quickly reoriented my tripod and waited for the next automobile to show up.
Part of what makes photography in Iceland so rewarding is that you seldom come back with the composition you hoped and planned for. But more often than not Nature will serve a Deus ex Machina for those nimble enough to see it.
