Light extraordinaire.
Reykjavík is blessed with sublime summer nights from May to July. When the stars align, the entire city is limned in the glow of the low sun for hours around midnight. The central plot in these photographs is the exquisite character of light. Light of this nature is not available in the lower latitudes.

Stunning, and I have to mention that I like how you kept your verticals, vertical. Well done!
Thank you, Bob. For the third image of Hallgrímskirkja, I used a Tilt-Shift lens and was able to achieve the verticals in the camera itself. The rest had mild keystoning that was easily corrected in Adobe Camera Raw.
I have said this before and there is no harm saying it again, you do have a good eye for light.
Thank you, Mervyn-bab. Those eyes come standard with every human 😃, so it is a matter of knowing you can use them to ‘see’.
