In Salvador do Mundo, Goa.
The Sun is an object of great beauty and awe. Among the first humans to understand how the Sun worked was Arthur Stanley Eddington, dismissing the doubters of his time: “The helium which we handle must have been put together at some time and some place. We do not argue with the critic who urges that the stars are not hot enough for this process; we tell him to go and find a hotter place.”
“Back To Sun” has so much emotional content: I felt the humidity and stillness of that moment immediately. Great work!
Thank you, Bob. It was still, yes, but not humid. Normally you would be right about the latter but this is December and Goa enjoys a relatively cool weather with low(er) humidity this time of the year. The temps were around 20º C and my guess is that the humidity was around 60-70%.
I was smiling as I read your reply, because in my neck of the woods, anytime the humidity gets over 50% it’s humid. 70% would be considered oppressive. But I get your drift, and love the photo. Seasons greetings from less than 30% indoor humidity. (Yes, I have a humidifier going as I write.) 🙂 Bob
Season’s Greetings to you, too, Bob. Here’s wishing you a relaxing and joyous time.
