After the Portuguese sacked the original temple in Sancoale, it moved c. 1560 to its current location in the beautiful village of Veling.

LaxmiNrusimha my kuladevata. I visit at Nrusimha Jayanti Utsava every year.
This is our Kuldevata, i am a regular visitor since 1978, Earlier it was in a poor state, now it has improved,I am from Mumbai, and i did try to buy a small house nearby the temple.. but nobody whom i asked ever came to help me… I wanted all my days to start by taking a glance of my kuldevata… but this never happend till now. Yest i always pray to the GOD for safety and guidence in life
