This is the inaugural post of a new series of Icelandic winter scenes that look like they could be recreated with charcoal strokes on an artists’ canvas. To abide by the spirit of that theme, the post-processing has been kept to a minimum.

While both photos are exceptional, I really enjoy your first photo and its resemblance to an etching. Minimalism is wonderful!
