      The peak colour lasts a very short time, 4-5 days – and that’s assuming there no early frost or snow. I was lucky to find myself in Mývatn at just the right moment this year.ReplyCancel

    Beautiful! I think there is some dust on your Zeiss 50 lens. In the second photograph there is a spot on the top RHS near the gray cloud.ReplyCancel

      Thanks. I saw it later when I was out and I thought it was on the top left of the frame. Unless you are seeing another spot that I am missing. I have cloned out one spot now.ReplyCancel
