Our Hindu heritage.
A cinematic journey through the Goa‘s Hindu landscape, a distillate of my photographic exploration during the last 17 years. Although a large body of material acquired over this period still awaits processing, this brief presentation serves as a synopsis of Goa‘s unique and profound Hindu tradition.

Your best work thus far, and probably of all times! All through the video my hair stood on ends and my eyes were moist with devotion. Didi was simply brilliant in “Shantakaram” and the Maru Bihag and Hameer were the perfect choice. Thanks for this exquisite compilation. Dev Boren Korun! (God bless you!). 🙂
Premanand-bab: Delighted to hear this from you.
What a beautiful experience! Vivid, vibrant and exceptionally detailing photography. The drone shots too are just wonderful – lets you experience the amazing and abundantly vegetated landscape of our beautiful monsoon-ridden west coast. Makes one want to go there right now! Even if one did, what we see here is another dimension altogether..
Thank you, Srikanth. Yes, Goa, coastal Karnataka, and the Konkan coast of Maharashtra are at their very best during the monsoons.
Truly experienced Goa! Within 8 minutes! Spectacular, scintillating, Parama-Uttamam! Thank you for creating this virtual experience!
Narasimha: Glad you like it.
Although I had seen some of these photos before, it was nice to witness an extract of your ‘cinematic journey’, Rajan-Bab. I couldn’t decide if it was the temple that enhanced nature’s beauty or the other way round. The relationship is in fact symbiotic. I wonder though how many of those hills continue as nature made them. Thank you.
Thank you for your thoughts, Antonio-bab. As for the hills and the beauty surrounding our temples, you well know what ‘development’ in recent years has done to Goa. Not even our sacred spaces have been spared.
I am amazed at how colorful Religion(s) can be outside the, for me a Roman Catholic, normal believer. This is beautiful my friend! The religious tree has deep roots but they all end at the top of the “tree”. Believe!
Amen, brother.
Outstanding video, Rajan. Although I have seen most of these pictures of yours in still mode, the video compilation gives them a fresh look. And the accompanying music makes the whole experience that much better.
Thanks, Nachi.
What an incredible collection of video and images. I cannot imagine the time taken to collect and assemble them. Fascinating. Well done.
Curt: Thank you. Yes, it took a while to put it together and much material still remains unprocessed. A fun project though.
Simply superb Rajanbab. Enjoyed it immensely.
Thanks, Ajit-bab.
