Sacred town.
Beautiful Pushkar in Rajasthan is renowned for its Brahma Temple. Temples dedicated solely to Lord Brahma are scarce and there are only a handful in India. For the Brahma Temple in Goa, see this post. Pushkar is also the site of the well-known annual camel fair.
These photos were taken in 2007. Can you spot the yogi in the first image?
Last photo is the best! 😆
Can the CEO of Nagar Palika and the Sub-divisional magistrate please explain what is the meaning of “No smoochin gand”? I was laughing out loud rolling on the floor when I first read it. 🙂 Magistrate babu, no spreading गंद with your English please. 🙂
Yes, an infelicitous misalignment of ‘g’ and the wonders of Rajasthani English!
The lone yogi is (hopefully) blissfully unaware of any defaulting by said smoochers and huggers.
😀
