I had forgotten about these photographs taken in 2006. With the vastly superior image processing tools available today, it is not a bad idea to revisit old files from the early days of digital.
PS: For those who notice such things, I have left the blob of lens flare (on the smaller domes) untouched in the first image.

Like the hint of blue sky on the top of second image though. Also, it’s an unbelievable shot considering the limited dynamic range of the original 5D. I have one of those to. 😀
Asheesh – Yes, the dynamic range of the scene is high. However, for my photographic intent I let the foreground architecture go dark – not completely black – enough that the dynamic range wasn’t an issue. The original 5D was a superb body.
The first one looks better to my eyes. 🙂
