Diamond Beach, Covid Edition.
A winter’s sunrise at Fellsfjara, Iceland, with not a soul in sight.
This patch of sand at the edge of the North Atlantic, where ice breaking off from the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier makes its way into the ocean, has been labeled Diamond Beach in recent years.
A short video is attached.
Out of this world. Thank you.
Gorgeous, and I am so jealous of the spectacular blue light and golden sun you have. 🙂
Thanks, Bob. This sublime light is characteristic of the low winter sun that illuminates the southern coast of Iceland.
Very enjoyable. “Crunching” sound says it all, almost.
Thank you, Richard.
Just beautiful, Rajan! That photo looks like there is a seal frozen in its unfortunate fate…
My first thought was that it looked like a dog. But you and a few others ‘see’ a different animal.
Rajan-bab this is spectacular.
cheers
