Morning in Goa.
The hourlong pre-dawn drive from Panjim to the bridge in Siolim is one I have relished numerous times over the years. The span over River Chapora offers a marvellous view of the rising sun but equally absorbing is the window on life it provides as the morning unfolds in a fishing village.
This is the first part of these quintessentially Goan vignettes; the second tranche will follow in the next post. (Part 2 is here.)
Added to the Morning in Goa album.
Excellent! Are you in Goa or are these from an earlier expedition?
These photos are from years past.
Great set, Rajan. If asked, I’d pick the 1st as my favorite, as its hues are heavenly and I like the solitude it conveys.
Thank you, Bob. The orange in that 1st image reminds me of Fanta.
