These are children of fisherfolk playing real games in the village of Siridona, Goa. It won’t be long before they discover social media and its mind-addling powers.
I was aged 7, we like in this huge bay in Bagamoyo, Tanganyika, one of the greatest slave ports, in East Africa…..Children learn by instinct…..I did I saw this toddler from my mothers village in Aldona, he was floating, a wave had knocked him down, I picked him up and hit his back, as mothers do when food goes the wrong way. …If sunrise was great so was was the full moon ReplyCancel
You reminded me of my childhood, playing endlessly in the “renv” (sand) on Calangute beach, then performing perfunctory clean-up of limbs in the sea and then returning home, dinner and collapsing in the bed. Fun day!!! 🙂ReplyCancel
A heartening group of fotos. Childhood as it should always be.
