A ghost town.
Like everywhere else, social and economic life in Iceland have ground to a halt. Although there is no lockdown in effect, very few venture out.
The aggressive testing regime (see video) together with isolation/quarantine procedures instituted by the Icelandic authorities is beginning to show results; we expect to turn the corner very soon.
I took a walk around Reykjavík last evening and this morning. All the photos but one were taken with the iPhone XS.

Great photographs! Thanks for the mini-walking tour of Reykjavik.
But please take care and stay safe.
Thanks, Premanand.
These are interesting. I’ve seen so many images of Iceland and of the famous church and sculpture, but I had no idea how to imagine Reykjavik itself. Glad to hear things are looking up there.
Thank you, Jackson.
