Twilight blue.
Bláfjall (“Blue Mountain”) forms a triad of massive table mountains together with Sellandafjall and Búrfell in the Mývatn area of northern Iceland.
This haunting scene from across from the lava field capped a day of fast changing weather that brought the season’s first dusting of snow. The photo was taken handheld in fading light and blustery conditions.

Awesome! I love the way the mountain seems to be floating in the sky.
This one looks majestic. It reminds me of Kilimanjaro. While Kilimanjaro rises over a plain lush with nature, the contrast here of the mountain rising out of desolation makes it eye catching (to me). My congrats.
