Summer nights on Iceland’s longest fjord.
These images were taken over two nights in Akureyri this June.

Post-sunset calm in Eyjafjörður

The first one is so real, seems like peeping out of the window and the last one is a painting. Sundar!
You have captured the exact feeling one gets on these calm midnight sunset/sunrise days during the latter part of June. Knowing that these pictures were taken just in our vicinity makes them more intimate. Thanks for sharing.
These images of sunset look so unreal as if they are water color paintings. Serene is the only word I can think of looking at the water, undisturbed by a fisherman and even the ducks. Nature’s calm. Beautiful.
There are few things that beat the calmness of an Icelandic summer night.
Nice to be reminded of that now, when there are few days to the shortest days of the year.
