Ísafjarðardjúp

Fjords within a fjord.

Ísafjarðardjúp is the largest fjord in the Westfjords region of Iceland. The word is constituted from Ís (ice) + fjarðar (fjords) + djúp (deep). Several smaller fjords open into it.

Two interpretations of a single frame taken looking westward along Ísafjarðardjúp are offered.
