My original intent was to file 10 posts on this theme before moving on to another topic, but now it is clear that this project will score a baker’s dozen or more sessions. There has been feedback requesting more street views. To that end, I shall include some wider shots in the final rounds.
The dwellings in the next two images exist cheek by jowl.
Vasco Pinho and I are joined in friendship based on our love of Panjim. A self-taught historian and a keen raconteur, he has self-published Snapshots of Indo-Portuguese History, a concise history of Panjim and Portuguese Goa spread over 4 volumes. This portrait was taken over a cup of tea at Café Aram at the end of Vasco-bab’s morning constitutional.

In your web-page,under the heading “Asavari& Associates” there is a reference to K. L Saigal’s song “jhulana Jhulao”. I have downloaded from the internet’s some sources a snippet of the same song for about 1.5 minutes. You have the complete three minutes song posted on your web-site in quick time player, but it cannot be downloaded. Would it be asking you too much if I request you to send me the three minute song by e-mail?
