Amid the volcanic surrounds of Krafla in northern Iceland is the incongruous scene of a borehole capped with a shower head. My friend Kristinn Ingi Pétursson was tempted to put his physical limits to the test in the near zero degree conditions. It took him well over an hour to feel whole again after the ablution.
