Twilight at Aguereberry Point

Badwater Basin, Belt of Venus and Earth’s shadow are seen in this post-sunset view from Aguereberry Point (elevation 6433 feet) in the Panamint Mountains of Death Valley National Park.

The location is named after the tenacious prospector Pete Aguereberry (pronounced: aa-geh-ra-berry), a Basque from France who lived around Death Valley for much of his life.
