Icelandic Ram

Unusual perspective.

The Icelandic sheep is an ancient breed brought in by the first settlers, and is raised entirely on mountain grass.

This image was taken at the Lyngbrekka farm in Reykjadalur, north Iceland.

What magnificence of both the ram and Rajan’s photography.
To think that man’s abuse of the environment will sooner rather than later, deprive us of such animal sights even if domesticated, appalls me.ReplyCancel
