Vulpine Antics

Cheeky little fellow.

We came across this Arctic Fox pup a couple of weeks ago in Möðrudalur in the north Highlands of Iceland. At 469 metres, it is the highest farm in the country. Although blessed with stark beauty, this is a harsh environment burdened by unforgiving winter weather.

The future is not too bright for the playful critter given that he is likely to be put out in January. As vermin, he cannot be allowed free rein on the farm when the new lambs arrive.
