Mahashivaratri

Night of the Great Yogi.

These images were taken at last evening’s Mahashivaratri celebrations at the Kamleshwar temple in the village of Korgaon in north Goa. Kamleshwar is one of the many epithets of Lord Shiva.

Note: As mentioned in an earlier post, the screen of my MacBook Pro was damaged last month. I am currently working with an external uncalibrated monitor of hideous quality. Guessing the image colours with the help of my iPad, using it as a wifi display via the Air Display app, is not optimal. Posting frequency will be slow until I get back to California later this month.

I was wondering (and “missing” too) why there were no posts from you for such a long time. A naive question: What is a calibrated screen and why is it so important? Do you have any example photo processed on a calibrated vis-à-vis un-calibrated monitor?

P.S. parrikar.com does not open on my computer. However parrikar.com/blog does. Am I missing something?

    Regards,
    Premanand.ReplyCancel
